In this course, participants learn to reflect on academic writing as a genre and are stimulated to improve their academic writing skills. They learn to use creative writing techniques as a form of artistic research and methodological inspiration. In addition, the participants are introduced to recent research on creative writing as a historical and discursive phenomenon. The course will conclude with a masterclass by scholar and writer Marlene van Nieuwkerk in December 2015.
